Understanding the Chakra System
The chakra system originates from ancient Indian spiritual traditions and describes seven energy centers along the spine. When these centers are balanced, energy flows freely, supporting physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
1. Root Chakra (Muladhara) โ Red
Located at the base of the spine, this chakra governs security and survival. Crystals: Red Jasper, Black Tourmaline, Hematite, Smoky Quartz.
2. Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) โ Orange
Located below the navel, this chakra governs creativity and emotions. Crystals: Carnelian, Orange Calcite, Tiger's Eye.
3. Solar Plexus (Manipura) โ Yellow
Located at the upper abdomen, this chakra governs confidence and personal power. Crystals: Citrine, Yellow Jasper, Pyrite.
4. Heart Chakra (Anahata) โ Green/Pink
Located at the center of the chest, this chakra governs love and compassion. Crystals: Rose Quartz, Green Aventurine, Rhodonite.
5. Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) โ Blue
Located at the throat, this chakra governs communication and truth. Crystals: Aquamarine, Lapis Lazuli, Blue Lace Agate.
6. Third Eye (Ajna) โ Indigo
Located between the eyebrows, this chakra governs intuition and wisdom. Crystals: Amethyst, Labradorite, Fluorite.
7. Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) โ Violet/White
Located at the top of the head, this chakra governs spiritual connection. Crystals: Clear Quartz, Selenite, Amethyst.
